semi-bare-protester-painted-in-ukraine-colours-eradicated-from-cannes-crimson-carpet

The Ukraine disaster grabbed the spotlight in Cannes on Friday as a semi-bare protester painted in blue and yellow used to be ejected from the crimson carpet.

The unidentified girl ripped off her costume revealing the Ukrainian flag colors, with the words “STOP RAPING US” emblazoned on her abdomen and crimson handprints on her buttocks.

The girl shouted and security officers rapidly wrapped her in a jacket, casting off her from the tournament. Visitors looked bemused and the swinging festival song conducted on.

The transient divulge took quandary on the sector premiere of “Three Thousand Years of Longing,” with stars Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton poised to advance and stroll the critical steps of the Palais des Festivals.
