We most likely don’t require to tell you that Meghan Markle has spent a lot of time dealing with terrible households.
There’s the Royal Household, obviously, who turned her fairy tale scenario into a headache with their continuous meddling and displeasure.
And after that there’s Meghan’s birth household, who make the Royals look downright functional by comparison.
Earlier today, we brought you up to speed with Meghan’s wicked half-sister and her perpetual campaign to money in by openly trashing the Duchess.
The current on Samantha Markle is that she’s releasing a memoir with the goal of embarrassing “Princess Pushy” (yes, that’s truly the label she uses for Meghan) on the worldwide stage.
The good news is, it appears there’s not much interest in her 300- page tabloid article. Shocking, we know.
Not to be outshined, Meghan’s repugnant dad is also making headlines today for his vicious treatment of Meghan.
As you might recall, Thomas Markle sold private letters from Meghan to the Daily Mail, and now, the Duchess is suing the tabloid for releasing her private correspondence.
According to a brand-new report from Newsweek, Meghan’s legal representatives have asked for a “summary judgment” (a triumph without the requirement for a trial) from the judge.
Their reasoning is that the evidence against the Mail is so terrible that no affordable individual might side with the tabloid.
To back their claim, the legal representatives point to a letter in which Meghan pled her dad to begin respecting her right to personal privacy.
In an act of painfully ironic ruthlessness, Thomas then offered the letter to the Mail.
” It is a wholehearted plea from an anguished daughter to her daddy (the word ‘pain’ or ‘uncomfortable’ appears no fewer than five times), asking him to stop speaking with the press,” Meghan’s attorneys write in their latest following.
” It is as excellent an example as one could find of a letter that any person of ordinary sensibilities would not wish to be divulged to 3rd parties, not to mention in a mass media publication, in a marvelous context and to serve the industrial purposes of the paper.”
The final paragraph of the letter, which was included in the new filing, includes a genuine plea from daughter to father.
” If you like me, as you inform the press you do, please stop,” Meghan wrote in the letter from August of 2018.
” Please permit us to live our lives in peace.”
At this moment, the judge has not released a response to the request for a summary judgment, but it’s unlikely that it will be approved.
In all probability, the editors of the Mail will continue to firmly insist that they had every right to publish the letter, and Meghan will be dragged through an embarrassing court fight in which her testimony will likely conflict with her dad’s.
So because sense, it’s a no-win scenario for the Duchess.
At least that incriminating part of the letter has been made public, and it will now serve as on-the-record suggestion of what a scumbag Thomas Markle is.
