Well, here’s a story we never thought we ‘d be informing.
You know how Jenelle Evans got pregnant when she was 16 years old and in no position whatsoever to raise a kid?
And you understand how she had the kid anyway, a baby young boy she called Jace, then kept acting how she did before she had the baby– lots of partying and staying out all night, smoking weed, that sort of thing?
She didn’t invest a dreadful great deal of time with Jace, and when he had to do with six months old, her mom, Barbara, formally took custody of him.
Jenelle went on to get detained a lot, develop a heroin addiction, have a series of poisonous relationships with awful males …
She got married to Courtland Rogers in the height of her addiction, they split up, she began dating Nathan Griffith and rapidly got pregnant with her second child, Kaiser.
She and Nathan separated, she met David Eason, got pregnant once again and gave birth to her 3rd child, a daughter she called Ensley.
And throughout all of this, she never gained back custody of Jace.
A couple of years ago, she and her mom went to court, and in mediation they agreed that Barbara needs to get full custody of Jace while Jenelle would get a set visitation schedule.
Now, as difficult as it might be to think, that’s all altering.
Yep, after years and years of Jenelle shouting to anybody who would listen that she was going to get Jace back, she really did it.
We initially discovered this development on TikTok where Jenelle directed a video to her brand-new fans, the ones that simply started examining her out after Teen Mom 2 pertained to Netflix just recently.
She stated a lot of stuff about how she’s not the exact same person she was at that time, that a lot had actually changed, and among the things she stated was that “I have custody of Jace. He lives with me now full-time.”
That might have sufficed for hew brand-new followers, but for those people who have been around for a while?
It just sounded like another lie to try to make herself look good.
According to a new report from The Ashley’s Truth Roundup, she was telling the reality.
A source told The Ashley that Jace has actually been living down at the overload, which “Jenelle and Barbara will validate it lawfully next week.”
” They aren’t going to court or anything,” the source described, “just signing papers so it’s legal and long-term that Jace copes with Jenelle now.”
Why the unexpected modification?
Well, it’s not a delighted turn of events, that’s for sure.
The source stated that “This choice has way more to do with Jace than Jenelle,” and the problem is that “Barbara can’t manage Jace anymore.”
” They had been getting into actually bad battles and Barbara is just finished with it. That’s why she agreed to permit Jace to deal with Jenelle.”
” Things had gotten so bad between Barbara and Jace,” the source included.
Apparently Jenelle is “not proud” that it took her so long to restore custody of Jace, “and she’s disappointed that the reason he finally returned is because Barbara couldn’t handle him any longer and not since Barb felt Jenelle had grown enough to get him back.”
Jace has actually been doing school online due to the fact that of the pandemic, so the good news is his schedule isn’t too different, but it really does seem like he’s a full-time citizen of the swamp now.
It’s sad, too, due to the fact that it seems like he’s acting out a bit, and life with Jenelle and David Eason will not exactly use him the stability and care he might use right now.
Ideally things turn out all right for everybody here, however we ‘d by lying if we said we didn’t have a tension about all of this.
UPDATE: Turns out that things are a bit complicated.
Here. We’ll let Jenelle discuss how and why.
