The violence at Jefferson Weapon Outlet in Metairie, Louisiana, appeared after an “preliminary shooter” opened fire, striking 2 individuals and triggering others at the shop to shoot their own weapons, Jefferson Parish Constable Joseph Lopinto stated at a press conference.

The 2 were noticable dead at the scene, he stated.

Capt. Jason Rivarde of the Jefferson Parish Constable’s Workplace stated in a later declaration that the individual presumed of being the preliminary shooter was likewise eliminated in the shootout.
